Macomb County is the third most populous county in Michigan, with approximately 840,978 residents according to the 2010 Census data. Macomb borders five other adjacent counties, including Wayne County, Oakland County, Lapeer County, St. Clair County and Lambton County in Ontario, Canada.

Macomb County is a highly-cultural and educational county in Michigan, with plenty of institutions its residents can attend. Students who prefer learning about science or arts may attend Macomb Academy of Arts and Sciences, where they get over 40 baccalaureate training programs and 27 graduate degree programs. Mary Help of Christians Academy is dedicated to Christian students that want to learn in a quiet environment, offering them not only educational courses, but also many lessons coming directly from the Holy Bible. There are many colleges that provide both Bachelor’s and Master’s degree, as well as other graduate degrees for those students who aim to take their career to the next level.


There are several hospitals in Macomb County and Henry Ford Macomb Hospital – Clinton Township is the most popular one, with over 120 beds available and a heart center for people who suffer from cardiovascular diseases. St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital, Macomb Center includes many pediatric health services for children and their parents, while Southeast Michigan Surgical Hospital offers assistance and great surgeons for those patients who need immediate intervention.


Macomb County includes many cultural attractions where people can have fun, including the Emerald Theatre, which presents daily plays and other incredible performances. Premier Lanes is the most appropriate place for bowling lovers, while all the other restaurants, pubs and bars offer residents and visitors alike good music, an excellent list of drinks and a pleasant atmosphere as well.
